Ahead of the release of ‘Porks’ on Christmas Day, the director of the upcoming Fox TV comedy has opened up about his love for the film and its fans.
“I’ve seen a lot of movies, but this is one of the best,” director Peter Morgan told Entertainment Weekly.
Morgan has been shooting the series for two years and says he was inspired to do it by his two kids, ages nine and 13. “
There’s a certain kind of energy, and there’s a kind of warmth and humour and a sense of family.”

“My daughter is a huge Porks fan,” he said.
“She loves it.”
He says he started shooting with his daughter because she was a big fan of the characters, but the older kids had more interest in the show’s characters and their adventures.
“The boys had a huge passion for the show,” he added.
“The younger kids were just like, ‘Yeah, I want to be in this.'”
And then the younger girls started wanting to be part of it.
They started wanting their dads to do the roles.
I wanted to be a part of that too, because I really wanted to play Porky.”‘
